Education Tips

  • Do your research and determine if the certification meets the standard you have set for yourself.
  • Work towards a designation that you are passionate about and don’t get hung up on what will make you the most money. Determine your core values before taking this journey.
  • The old saying “walk the walk, talk the talk” could not be any truer when it comes to the fitness industry. Are you practicing what you preach?
  • A strong certification provider will make it convenient for you to keep up with your education, and maintain or upgrade your certification.
  • Spend at least 30 minutes a day reviewing, reading or writing something about healthy practices for the body, mind and spirit. Continue this practice when you are a professional, and pass it along to clients, friends and family. Health and Fitness professionals take this very seriously.
  • Combine education and personal experience for proper communication
  • Set your goals as a leader high, when you are close to achieving a goal, set the next one. Always focus on progression.
  • What ever specific type of health and fitness professional you become, always remember that you are doing a great service to your community, country and beyond.
