Christine has had a very eventful past year with Cardio Core. She made the decision to leave her full time position in the corporate world and concentrate 100% on what she really loves to do, which is helping people achieve their health and wellness goals.Since leaving her full time position she has become OFC Certified and loves to Head train the bootcamp workouts for all of their enthusiastic Bootcampers. One of her main objectives is to help people realize what their true potential is. By motivating her clients and pushing them a little each time during a work- out, they leave with a great sense of accomplishment. They feel stronger and motivated to give more each time. If a client can do one extra push up or able to advance a little further in a fitness test, then she feels she is doing what she was meant to do.
Chris feels that it’s so rewarding to watch the progress of a new person starting bootcamp. Upon joining bootcamp many people feel a little nervous and unsure of themselves and after their first 4 week session they are more confident, stronger, fitter and capable of most anything. To her, this is what being an owner of Cardio Core is all about, the feeling is priceless.
On a personal note, Christine took part in her first 60 km walk for the Weekend to End Breast Cancer this past September. This was a journey that left her feeling that ‘WE’ can make a difference in the fight against women’s cancers one step at a time. She will be hitting the trails again this coming year in 2010 with her team mates the ‘Walkers for Knockers’.
This so much more than just owning a business to Christine, this is a way of life for her now and there is no looking back.

Nikki enjoys a variety of activities including running/trail running, yoga, rebounding (mini-trampoline), weight training and Bootcamp and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). This year she completed the 2009 Mississauga Half Marathon, completed her first Half Marathon Trail Race in Horseshoe Valley, placing first in her age group and also placed 9th out of 170 in her age group in the Toronto Zoo 10km run in October. It was a fantastic year to watch so many of their Scarborough members participate in their first 5km and 10km race and help them achieve their potential. By having an upcoming event to commit to and then train for this with a group of like-minded individuals is very empowering and extremely motivating.
